How to Configure Whop with Shopify

Create Your Shopify Custom App & Enable Scopes

To calculate shipping rates, taxes, and automatically generate paid orders upon payment, your Shopify store connects via a private Custom App.

  1. Log into your Shopify Admin and click Settings → Apps and sales channels.
  2. Click Develop apps → Allow custom app development → Create an app.
  3. Set the app name to KCheckout Whop Gateway.
  4. Click Configure Admin API scopes and enable these exact permissions:

Click Install App and copy the Admin API token starting with shpat_... into your KCheckout dashboard.

Connect Your Whop Company & API Key

Now connect your Whop business where your customer payments and payouts will land.

  1. Log into the Whop Dashboard.
  2. Look at your browser URL to find your Company ID: https://whop.com/dashboard/biz_XXXXXXXXXXXX.
  3. Go to Developer → API Keys and generate a new Company API Key.
  4. Paste your Whop API Key and Company ID into KCheckout and click "Verify Whop & Run Test".

KCheckout automatically verifies dynamic plan creation and registers your webhook for automated order completion.

Choose Layout, Branding & Custom Domain

Customize your checkout to match your store's branding:

  • Pick a Layout: Classic (Shopify 1:1), Flow Max (Urgency & Reviews), or Assured Max (Trust & Receipt).
  • Custom Domain (Optional): Set a subdomain like checkout.yourbrand.com. Add a CNAME pointing to kcheckout.com. Click "Test CNAME DNS Propagation" to auto-provision your free SSL. Or simply use the primary platform domain (kcheckout.com) without creating any subdomain!
  • Branding: Upload your logo, header style, and brand hex color.
